Categorization

I often think of one of my wife's favorite films, High Fidelity, when I think of categorization. John Cusack plays a record store owner and compulsive list maker. See it if you're not nodding commiseratively, for it is a madness most of us share and suffer. Body Art is a category that's fairly easy to peg, as are portraits. It gets all fuzzy once flora, fauna and landscapes come into play. Maybe I'll make a seaside category, one for the countryside and one for urban life.

Update: Done that now and have published it to get some opinions. My long term aim is to create galleries which showcase images as a series for purchase (once I sort out the purchase/print/post side of things) and use this space to discuss each series, i.e. where it was taken, what significance it holds and what not.

A New Journal

I switched from iWeb to SmugMug recently and needed to find a new location for posting thoughts and frustrations. So, let's see how this goes.
